Downloaded a game but stuck in files






















I did try to create a folder with that name to no avail. I had the same issue. On Windows 7 for Medal of Honor What worked for me is right-clicking and cancelling download.

Then exit Origin. I then right-clicked on Origin and selected the run as administrator option. It starting downloading within a minute. March - last edited March I have exactly the same as yours and nowhere does anyone mention how to solve it when there are no folders being created When I first tried to download Pacific Assault in Origin it seemed stuck so I 'X-ed' out and closed it out of the task bar too, then created that folder as mentioned, then ran it again in Origin and bingo it took.

Never had a game do that seem hung on installing or preparing to install the second go round after the said folder was created when I clicked on Download it then opened another window and worked normally like all the other downloads I've done on Origin.

My issue now is when the game starts every time btw it'll ask what resolution you want to play in along with other tabs for sound and whatnot in my case there is no x so when I choose a 'close' resolution then play a while then quit to desktop it re-arranges all my desktop icons because they were in p and the game was in some other resolution Help us improve Answers HQ! I clicked on the folder, and there was an. It said that it needed a certain file that i didn't have , to open the game. Did you unzip the files or just download them? If you just downloaded them, then you need to get Windows Zip for the game to run. When you open the files and see this. I Added it but its only a GIF and when i click on it, it just takes me to the game download area, am i do something wronggggg???? Once the files have been extracted there's gonna be a whole lot of files but if you look carefully there's a file that has type application next to it. That should do the trick. I downloaded like gb more after 1 file remaining and it still downloads. I tried to change the language of the launcher and even then it just stuck at 1 file remaining.

Note: This process is a workaround and may not work for all games.
