The transition between the old and new app definitely messed some people up but not for me. I had no idea. This made me angry, knowing all my Sonos from barely a year ago is on a decline. I removed it and now all my Sonos is under the new app.

No issues with the app or speakers of course. It still works with the old app, however. Sonos needs to rectify this with their consumers. Figure it out gang! So frustrating. Set alarms sometimes work, which is worse than never working. How do I trust this thing again? Sometimes I have to wait a full minute. Since I signed on the the new app my equipment is now listed as incompatible.

As a user, I really appreciate this feature. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. This is about installing a previous version of an app, not dealing with newer versions on an old iOS. So, unfortunately, you will not be able to install older app versions.

And yet, I've been forced to update, even though there are no critical parts to the update. Just the crap for the Sonos One. So why was my Sonos crippled until I was forced to do an update?

That's the question. The problem now is that my entire system is gone. I've been messing with it for two hours, which is two hours I don't have to spend on stuff like this. I started updating my phone, then my Mac and then my PC and then things started disappearing.

I disconnected all of my speakers except one and reset it to see if I could get anything back. I plugged in my play3 and my play5, but now none of my controllers can see any fo my speakers. As far as I can tell, all of my speakers and playlists and setting are completely gone. All because I was forced to complete an screwed up update that did absolutely nothing significant for my system.

Get with it! What are you like "alot" over 12 or something? The new app is complete CRAP. Change it back the way it was, this is NOT what I paid for. You have ripped me off.. I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecil. Ever since I upgraded more like a downgrade my system takes for ever to recognize the bridge sitting 3 feet away.

Then it drops songs mid-way through. I have: 1. Ryan S. Hi philliephanatic, before reaching step 5, we recommend giving us a call. Am I being stupid or can you no longer make a sonos playlist, not very tech savvy so maybe sounds rubbish but the last app was ace and helped me do it, this one I can't work it out. You can still make Sonos Playlists by saving an existing queue.

On mobile controllers, from the Queue screen there's a button on the bottom right which says Save. So I make the playlist and then save as a playlist? Sonos playlists are saved Sonos Queues. You can add tracks, albums, existing playlists to your Queue, and then save it as a Sonos Playlist to be used again. These saved playlists are stored on your players and can be accessed under the header Sonos Playlists.
